Hello and Welcome to A Wiser Me Blog and Yoga space. I’m so grateful that you’ve taken the time to check out this site. I’m a passionate connector, who desires to love and help women feel empowered and encouraged in their life journey. I love to learn and have built this site to share the wisdom(s) I’ve learned, through challenge or ease, and by offering Yoga Classes to my community. I also dream of having other women sharing their stories and encouragement here to help many others grow in their faith, health, and wellness.
As a lover of Christ and a sinner turned saint, by the blood of Christ, I do my best to walk in His humble grace. My faith journey is important in my life and health journey and so it’s a part of my conversation, but you don’t have to share my beliefs to be a part of this community. All are welcome and I pray all are encouraged.
A recovering workaholic and stress ball I started doing yoga. As an on-again/off-again student of yoga since the early 2000s, I came to study yoga seriously in 2016 and then took my yoga certification courses in 2019 when I completed my 200RYT. I’ve been actively teaching yoga since November 2019 and am currently pursuing my 500RYT. And I couldn’t love it more. Yoga has brought a sense of strength and empowerment to me and my body that has been so valuable and I love to share that with others. I like to say I offer yoga for real people.
In addition to blogging and teaching and studying yoga, I’m also a wife, work from home momma, homeschooler, church volunteer leader, advocate for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. And, soon to be a full-time farmgirl with my husband at the School of Permaculture as we transition to our farm.
